Theme of the Month- Release

Letting go of what no longer serves you.

March Theme-Release

Release is not about forgetting or pretending something never happened. It is the quiet, intentional decision to loosen our grip on what weighs us down-old narratives, past pain, expectations that no longer fit, and the habits that keep us from growing into who we are becoming. Letting go can feel uncomfortable at first. It asks us to trust that we are allowed to move forward with carrying everything with us.

Release shows up in many forms. It may be choosing peace over proving a point, forgiving without needing an apology, or giving yourself permission to outgrow a version of your life that once felt necessary for survival. It can be releasing fear, releasing shame, releasing relationships that no longer nurture you, or releasing the belief that your past defines your future.

In this issue, we explore the courage it takes to let go and the freedom that follows. Release is not a loss-it is space. Space to heal, to breathe, to rediscover yourself, and to create something new. When we release what no longer serves us, we make room for clarity, purpose, and a deeper sense of peace.

RELEASE
Clover Perez

There comes a point when holding on requires more energy than letting go. Release is that turning point-the moment we decide we no longer have to carry what kept us confined, silent, or stuck in an earlier version of ourselves.

In this issue, we feature the story of Karen Dhaliwal, who deliberately chose to step away from the patterns and expectations that had been shaping her life, including her relationship with sobriety. Her journey is honest and deeply personal, reflecting the courage it takes to define freedom and healing on your own terms.

This issue is filled with stories of life's challenges and triumphs-voices that speak to growth, change, and the strength it takes to move forward. We invite you to subscribe to RE/CLAIMED Magazine to read the full stories and experience the journey within these pages.

With care,
