RE/CLAIMED is a monthly digital magazine dedicated to elevating the voices of those who have rebuilt, reclaimed, and risen. We are looking for authentic stories of resilience, justice, renewal, personal transformation, and lived experience stories that speak to the heart of what it means to reclaim your life, your identity, your dreams, and your future.
Whether you are justice-impacted, a survivor, a community leader, an advocate, or someone who walked through fire and emerged renewed, your story belongs here.
What You Can Submit
Feature Stories
Deep, transformative narratives or justice-focused pieces.
Length: 1,200-1,800 words
Personal Essays
Reflections on growth, healing, or pivotal moments.
Length: 800-1,200 words
Short Reflections or Letters
Short, powerful insights or messages to the community.
Length: 400-700 words
Creative Work
Poetry, photography, artwork, or photo essays.
Text Length: 150-300 words

You do not need to be a professional writer. You need a story that speaks truth.
Submission Requirements

All submissions must be original and unpublished.

Please include your name, email, and a brief 3-4 sentence bio

Attach your article as a Word document or Google Doc.

If submitting photos or artwork, include high-resolution images and a description.

If your story includes real people, please use consent or change identifying details.
